Melanie Clarance is an “impact investment” rainmaker, aligning deep medical and scientific knowledge with specially curated venture capital and private equity companies focused primarily on transformative life sciences,, medical devices, renewable energy, and clean tech industries Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science (Agr.), a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, the Canadian Investment Finance/Management designation (IM), and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.

She has also successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (Honours) and passed the President, Directors and Officers Options, Registered Rep., Partners, Directors and Senior Officers, and Exempt Market Products exams. Melanie upon many years of veterinary practice, which allows her to bridge conversations between scientific and medical clients and finance-focused investors. Relentlessly both relationship- and results-focused, Melanie has worked as an Associate Portfolio Manager for a complement of prestigious Swiss banks, including Pictet & Co. (Canada) Ltd., UBS Canada, and EFG (Canada).
